Apostles Update

Apr 13, 2021    Dr Laverne
Dear Friends,

Seke Province - We give glory to God for the residence of our father & mother in our province. This past week as Seke Central Province we managed to host Easter Monday, many youths attended and the event was graced by our Mother Dr. Eunor Guti. She shared a message from our Father that we should be outstanding leaders and youths who do the work of God. She also highlighted much on prayer in order to be outstanding in doing the work of God. Many youths were delivered from different spirits that were oppressing them. Then this Sunday we also hosted a SADOP Zonal Service attended by many Sons and Daughters of Prophet (Pastor’s children). Fellow SADOP, Dr La-Verne Simukai brought a message from our father and mother encouraging SADOP to do well in school and also to become leaders in the church and society and to seek God. Our Father then prayed for the group online.
The power and blessing of God has been unleashed in the whole province and people are endeavouring to make their lives right with God. Lives are continuing to change and financial breakthroughs being experienced. Thank you for your constant prayers as the work continues.

Pastor Tina Mashushire (USA) shared this Sunday on “The Importance of Your Faith”. In her opening remarks she quoted Professor Ezekiel Guti in his book Maturity where he says, “when faith fails, everything else fails”. She said that in troubling times we need to use our faith and that at times your faith will be tested or shaken. She gave a testimony of how their daughter was in and out of hospital for 3 months and underwent 5 different surgeries and how it was a rough time for them but they kept on trusting God and she recovered. So even when our faith is shaken God is still there. Faith is a shield which we use to quench the fiery darts of the enemy. Some examples of fiery darts are our own thoughts, unnecessary conflicts and spiritual warfare. You have to trust God and when you give thanks in the good times and the bad times you are using your faith. Tune your ears to hear what the Spirit is saying and remind yourself what God has already done, He will continue to work out your problems. Use faith filled words. Your faith is your success and victory.

We give the glory to the God of our Father Apostle E. H. Guti for His faithfulness towards us and our nation. This week we had six midweek prayer services and Bible study groups that registered very good attendance. Our attendance Sunday was 30 adults and 6 children, with one new visitor. We are seeing the provision of God in our finances as the church is growing in the spirit of giving. Please continue to pray for the growth of FIF Morocco and for the completion of the registration.

We want to thank you for your prayers as we are seeing God keeping his church. Our nation has been hit with the third wave of Covid19 and this has caused everything to go back on lockdown but despite that, the church is still moving on. Believers met during the week for prayers. Our Sunday service was affected but we managed to have it online encouraging each other and also listening to the preaching of the International Sunday. We thank God. May you continue to pray for us that as we meet online our services may have impact.

Our weekly activities went on well this week and the Home visitations Team visited 6 homes, discussing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with members and non-members alike. All praises belong to God. Sunday's worship saw a total of 33 in attendance and the Holy Spirit took control of our Bible Study using our Father Apostle Ezekiel Guti's book, "A Wise Man" and then Pastor Ahmed delivered a brilliant message "Faith and Hope in Jesus. The service ended with a fellowship with members enjoying lunch together. We pray for our brothers and sisters in St. Vincent and Barbados and across the Caribbean dealing with the Volcanic explosion and ash affecting so many and we pray for growth in our church membership.

Thanking God for visas for our long-term and short-term missionaries. Thanking God for those that need meeting places be able to find something affordable in a good location.
Thanking God for giving wisdom in the implementation of the vision at ZEGU.
Thanking God for His Angel that continues to encamp round about those who fear Him protecting the saints around the world from Covid-19 and that those who are infected are healed. Thanking God for removing the spirit of fear and comforting those who've lost loved ones.
Thanking God for good rains and not floods in this rainy season.
Thanking God for your nation.

Baba wants us to be outstanding youth/leader who does the work of God.
We are the emerging generation that will take over the church and lead it, not because the elders will be dead but because we still have the strength to run around and do the work of God. You can not be outstanding when you do not pray. Not just an ordinary prayer but praying fervently
2 Chronicles 26 vs 5 "He sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God; and as long as he sought the Lord, God made him prosper."
We are blessed as young people because we are not going to be hearing history that there was a man called Ezekiel, but we saw him and we heard him preach.
No matter where you are, if you are outstanding for God, you will be known by Him. We need to seek and fear God. TO BE CONTINUED......God bless you.

We love you and are praying for you,
Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
