Apostles Update

Jul 20, 2021    Dr Larvene

Dear Friends,

Evangelist Wellington Kandemiri (Zimbabwe) shared on the topic “Power of Applying Faith to the Word of God”. He quoted the Bible where it says faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen. We do not walk by sight but by faith and the Word of God has authority. You should mix the Word of God with faith. Even if you are going through challenges but if you mix the Word with faith your situation can change. You can be healed, your business will flourish. When two powers meet the lesser power will bow down. If cancer meets with Jesus Christ, cancer will bow down. He ended by reassuring those in hopeless situations that the authority in the Word and the power of Jesus Christ will turn things around for them.

We thank the God of our Father Professor Ezekiel Guti for all that He is doing for us. On Tuesday the women welcomed our Pastor Cecilia as she taught on how the Tuesday prayer started and encouraged the women to continue to pray, 13 women were present. Friday night service was powerful our first service with Pastors Oscar and Cecilia Zezani with 53 people attending. We met again on Sunday with 69 people attending. Pastor Oscar ministered on the Integrity of the Word of God. We are looking forward to baptising 5 people. Continue to pray for us as we trust God for a place of worship.

Nevis - To God be the glory great things He is doing through technology we have been able to stay connected through Zoom both for prayers and hearing the Word. On Thursday the Ladies enjoyed a powerful sharing of Dr. Eunor Guti's book A Wise Woman. Sunday was our first service back at our physical church and the presence of the Lord showed up. Members praised and worship as we discussed the History of the Church. Our Bible Study was on the commandment to Love One-another as Christ loved us. One Member testified that she had never felt love until she came to this church when invited by one of the leaders. She started coming to the church 2 years ago and could reference all of the love that has been showed to her especially during her lowest moments when a Family Member was very ill. To God be the Glory.

We thank the God of our Father Ezekiel Guti for His faithfulness. We continue with our weekly services daily, engaging the believers in prayer, evangelism and Bible study which have been very effective. On Thursday night the Ladies had a wonderful and interactive time in fellowship. A powerful Word was later delivered by our Pastor Florence Simango. She encouraged the ladies to be resilient in prayer as we wait on God. Friday night service Pastor Simango shared a powerful teaching on Fear. Sunday Service was awesome with powerful Worship. We had an interactive Bible Study session continuing with the topic on Repentance. Pastor Simango delivered a powerful message on 'making sure you have a relationship with God'. 3 people came to the altar and received salvation and one of them also became a member of FIFMI. Many believers also received healing in their bodies. Brother Jermaine was ordained as a Deacon. The church received him with much joy. Attendance was 44. We thank you for your prayers.

We are thankful to the God of our Father Professor Ezekiel H. Guti who continues to protect the church. We are continuing with online services during the mid-week and meet at the sanctuary on Sundays because of the COVID 19 restrictions. There is more excitement in FIF Jamaica after Pastors Dwight and Latoya Steadford were deployed back to Jamaica. The Steadfords together with their children landed in Jamaica last Friday. Jamaica is not going to remain the same again.

We want to thank God for Thailand as we had a power packed service 16 gadgets were logged in for service as Pastor Sharon Ndoga taught Bible study using our Father Apostle Ezekiel Guti’s books. Some testimonies:
One lady testified of the power of prayer as she was depressed but the meeting and fellowship with the group has helped her receive inner healing.
Another lady testified of how God miraculously allowed her family to come to Thailand when there was total shutdown. One of her kids was confirmed Covid positive but the second test after prayers turned out negative and they were repatriated to Thailand when it seemed impossible.
Another lady testified of how she saw God answering prayers as she is a victim of cyclone Idai but God sent His angels to rescue her.
Pastor Patler Ndoga preached on the importance of having the fear of God and maintaining righteousness. We experienced the thick presence of God, people remained logged in on zoom praying and crying even when the service ended. Thank you for your prayers continue praying for Thailand that the church be rooted and grounded in the doctrine of FIFMI.
This week:
Thanking God for the Servant and Apostles of God, Prof Ezekiel H. & Dr. Eunor Guti that He gives them supernatural strength and protects them everyday. Thanking God for continuing to give them grace and wisdom for the work they are doing in Chitungwiza and around the FIFMI world.
Thanking God for the registration process of FIFMI Mauritius, Morocco and other nations. Thanking God for favor in the processing of visas for our long-term and short-term missionaries. Thanking God for those that need meeting places be able to find something affordable in a good location.
Thanking God that ZEGU continues to grow as people enroll for the August intake.
Thanking God for His Angel that continues to encamp round about those who fear Him protecting the saints around the world from Covid-19 and that those who are infected are healed. Thanking God for removing the spirit of fear. May the Holy Spirit comfort those that have lost their loved ones.
Thanking God for your nation.

As a servant of God, I want you to hold onto Jesus – I am leading you to Jesus. The ZAOGA FIFMI history book says holding onto people is not good. I’m a servant of Jesus, follow Jesus. If you are holding onto me physically, they will say your God is gone - what will you do?
I am leading you to Jesus, follow Jesus, I am a servant of God. Ezekiel was sent by Jesus. All ZAOGA FIFMI members should look and hold onto Jesus - if they hold onto Ezekiel physically, they will struggle. Follow me as I follow Christ. God bless you.

We love you and are praying for you,
Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
