Apostles Update

Dr Larverne
Dear Friends,

Pastor Nyasha Ziswa (Zimbabwe) shared passionately about ‘‘The Authority in the Spoken Word” foregrounding the teaching of our Father Apostle Ezekiel Guti that when we engage the Word of God it has the same authority as if Jesus was there with you. She gave testimony of how her father experienced complication post cancer treatment that doctors declared hopeless but as a family they engaged the Word and he was healed. She also testified of how she got COVID 19 and was tormented by the spirit of fear but overcame through confessing scriptures and saturating herself with the Word of God. Our healing, deliverance, provision is found in the Word so what are you saying to your situation? Speak the Word, but first you must have a good relationship with God characterised by obedience, then have faith, believe in the integrity of the Word. Finally, you declare the Word. Things beyond wisdom and repair is where God steps in if you invite His authority through His Word.

We thank the God of our Father Apostle Ezekiel Guti for opening doors in Seychelles under the guidance of Overseers P and T Mutumbwa. We thank God for the prayer and encouragement that we received as Seychelles from our Father who blessed the nation, pronouncing the commencement and growth of the Church in Seychelles. This was our second consecutive week in attendance and in our service we were 6 families of which 2 were locals families. We continue praying for the same grace to abound in Seychelles.

We thank the God of our father Ezekiel Guti, who continues to look after us here in Bangor, Maine USA. We are seeing the hand of God at work everyday and as Overseer Paul Mukasa continues to do foundational teachings to ground the new believers. This week we had our Wednesday night bible study and we had 8 adults in attendance and the overseer taught on salvation and the work that Jesus Christ did for us.
Our Sunday service went on following a hybrid format as we meet in person and on zoom, we had 12 people in attendance and we learnt on the importance of prayer for a believer. 5 people were baptized in water and deacons Desmond and Primrose Mavuru were ordained elders, glory be to God. Please continue praying for us because there is a lot of work and the new church is highly expectant.

We want to thank God for a wonderful week we had as we continue to see growth amongst the believers. We still meet online and we thank you for your prayers that we have not lost any believer. Midweek prayers continue to be attended with the pastoral team having a time to encourage believers with the Word. On Friday we had a powerful service with Pastor Julian Martinez who preached on healing. The presence of God was evident and on Sunday the Pastors also encouraged on knowing who you are in Christ. There was so much joy and after the service we had time to fellowship.

We thank the God of our Father Apostle Ezekiel Guti for His goodness here in Guyana we are meeting for our prayers and Bible Study on Zoom. On our Friday night fellowship service the speaker shared on speaking the Word of God in all situations and after the ministration of the word 6 people were prayed for and people continued to worship and speaking tongues. On Sunday we received a powerful message on Having Faith in the Word of God and a mighty move of the power of God was experienced in our service. Continue to pray for us as we are believing God for our own place of worship.

We thank the God of our Father Apostle Ezekiel Guti for yet another powerful week. The believers continue to meet for Morning glory sessions from Monday to Friday to pray and indeed God is answering the prayers of the believers. Tuesday evening, the Elders and Deacons continue to meet for training facilitated by our Pastor Newman Kuzamba. Wednesday night was yet another powerful Bible Study Session which the believers look forward to always. We had a powerful Service on Friday evening. Dr. Anne delivered a powerful message on the 'Woman with Issue of blood' the believers were touched and encouraged. We are continuing with our two Sunday services both well attended, with spectacular Bible study and worship. The Pastor preached on the Mechanism of Faith, we were encouraged, ministered to and many received their healing and deliverance. We thank you for your prayers.

We give God all the glory for another fruitful week. With the help of our pastors, we managed to set up a steering committee comprising a coordinator, vice, a secretary and two committee members. The team is willing and ready to take up the work of God in FIFMI Thailand, glory to God. This week we had an average of 8 people during the daily prayers and on Wednesday we had 17 people in attendance for Bible study. The Sunday service was life-transforming, we had 18 people logged in and during Bible study people gave testimonies of how they had experienced the power of God in their lives. Here are some:
One person testified that they had a personal encounter with God and received Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour after being in the church for a long time.
Another person testified how God miraculously provided a large sum of money in a dire situation.
Another man testified that God healed him of kidney failure and preserved his life when medical doctors thought he would die, we serve a living God.
We received a teaching on the importance of giving to God, our lives will never be the same again. We thank God that he continues to give the saints the zeal to know him better and there is evidence of spiritual growth. Thank you for your prayers, please continue to pray for us that more people may be added to the church.

Our Soul Winning team is doing door to door preaching and we thank God many dedicate their lives to Christ. We thank God for the growth of the church of the assemblies (Ambinanibe, Bezavona, Ampasy), the attendance grows every Sunday. We had our Family Convention starting on Thursday evening and we thank God for a good attendance. We ended our Family Convention with a Big Sunday that we named "Spiritual buffet". We thank God the speakers were mightily used by God and gave strong teaching on family.
We thank God for the presence of God was tangible, we had an attendance of 139 people.
We ask your prayers for many more souls to come and for all the development projects to be accomplished. Testimonies :
Many of our children did exams this year (grade 5, O' level, A level) and most of them passed.
One of our believer had a problem with the owner of the house where she lived. We thank God during the prayer Convention God gave her a better house in a cheaper price.
One of our Deacon had a severe stomach ache but after prayer she received her healing.

We give glory to the God of our Father Professor Ezekiel H. Guti who afforded the church to hold Family Conventions virtually and nationally from the 12th to 14th of August 2021. FIF South Africa, FIF Botswana as well as FIF Namibia also held their conference during the same period. This year's theme was "Building Resilient Families," in line with the message from our Father to be strong like never before. Some of the topics that were taught included, Salvation and the Family, Godly character of a Family, Discipleship, Gender Based Violence, Christian Entrepreneurship, Adjusting to the New Normal, Premarital Counselling, Family and Mental Health, Ideal Model of Parenting, Thriving as a Single Lady and so forth. Trained Speakers included, Bishops, Overseers, Pastors and Elders. The Conferences were a success although there were network challenges experienced on some of the days. Families enjoyed choirs and family games online.

2 Timothy 2:21 - "Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work."

You have to be a good person so they can enjoy the Jesus you are carrying. God will be angry when people no longer love God because of your character. That’s why I changed, I have changed 3 times. You have heard me, I spent one year praying create in me a clean heart.
Once you know what you need to change, you pray for grace to do the right thing and decide not to do the wrong thing anymore. The new generation, has knowledge but the life is not worked, and lack godliness. You have to grow - you have knowledge but you lack godliness. Your knowledge is wild not disciplined or trained. Your life doesn’t have godliness. Let us seek to have godliness and not just knowledge alone. TO BE CONTINUED.....God bless you.

We love you and are praying for you,
